Erskine, Hall & Coe are delighted to announce that gallery artist Jennifer Lee has been shortlisted for the distinguished LOEWE Craft Prize.
The annual LOEWE Craft Prize brings together outstanding talent from across the world, showing the utmost excellence in craft today. The prize aims to acknowledge the importance of craft in today's culture. More information about the LOEWE prize can be viewed here.
Works by the 30 shortlisted artists will be on display at the Design Museum in London from 4 May - 17 June. More information about the display can be viewed on the Design Museum website here.
A group of 8 pieces by Jennifer Lee are also on display now at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, in the exhibition 'Things of Beauty Growing,' which is a survey of British studio ceramics from the early 20th century to the present day. This exhibition is on until 17 June. This exhibition was a collaboration with the Yale Center for British Art, in New Haven - and had been displayed in Yale from September to December 2017. Lee's work will also be exhibited in America at the same time at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Connecticut, in a group exhibition called 'Handheld,' which is viewable from 20 May - 13 January 2019. More information on this show can be found here.
