Small Works, Great Artists
25 February - 21 March 2025
Erskine, Hall & Coe are pleased to present our seventh annual Small Works, Great Artists exhibition, which features exceptional 20th century and contemporary works by British and international talent. The show will run until 21 March.
Among the highlights is a stunning olive vessel by Jennifer Lee from 2006, displayed alongside a selection of her thrown pieces from recent years, creating a dynamic dialogue spanning two decades of her career.
Koji Hatakeyama’s latest cast bronze vessels reveal an exciting, fresh direction in his work. Striking Urushi lacquer sculptures by Genta Ishizuka and earthy, textured tea bowls by Machiko Ogawa are complemented by a captivating green-glazed stoneware tea bowl by Ryoji Koie and a framed fibre work by Shihoko Fukumoto. Elegant new porcelain vessels by Sara Flynn are another standout feature of the exhibition.
