Gordon Baldwin's featured in the V&A Magazine
Two stunning rare early artworks by Gordon Baldwin are featured in the current issue of the Victoria & Albert Museum's Magazine, Issue no. 44, Autumn/Winter 2017.
These two sculptures, made in the the 1950's & 1960's denote a period of Baldwin's work where his style was more figurative, rather than abstract.
The two pieces were exhibited in Erskine, Hall & Coe's International Ceramics exhibition last year. These artworks were subsequently acquired by the Museum, thanks to the generosity of a fund set up in the memory of Annabel Freyberg.
